I am totally passionate about Textiles. My first experience was at the age of six when I was taught how to knit. I sat looking at the irregular and dropped stitches and my passion had begun. I studied Textile Design at Lewisham College and during the course worked with fabric manipulation. The White dress was designed using the manipulation techniques that I still use today. Since leaving college I have become very interested in sculptured fabric. I have been using a technique called Shibori. I design and make wearable art as well as wall mounted work.
