Regents Independent Midwifery is a group of experienced independent midwives who work autonomously with their clients but with the support, where needed, of other local independent midwives. Each midwife is responsible for the individual care and support for each expectant mother. This ensures for the security and reasurance of onetoone care throughout a pregnancy. Your midwife may also introduce a secondary midwife for home births and to provide professional support where necessary. All our midwives attend regular courses in order to ensure each expectant mother receives the latest evidence based information and advice. In addition, all midwives are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council NMC to ensure that the clinical practice is up to date and in line with the regulatory body.
