I am a UK Registered Counsellor, a member of the BACP and the AHPP and have been practising as a counsellor for several years. I am a graduate of Spectrum, a humanistic psychology training centre, accredited by the United Kingdon Council of Psychotherapy UKCP. I went into therapy training after taking my first and second degrees as a mature student. My main work is running my practice seeing clients. I am also a workplace counsellor for a large American company. My experience, as a therapist and as a client, is that this process or journeycan improve your feelings about yourself and your dealings with others, whether in close relationships or working relationships. Just having space, for an hour a week, to concentrate on yourself, with someone to really hear what is hurting, can be liberating in itself.
