Walker’s France has been walking through the wine lists of France since 1988. The programmes may have grown over time, but the essential formula which inspires so many to return year after year remains untouched: good wine, good food, good company, all threaded together by gentle walks through some of the loveliest countryside in France. Walking through the French wine country lets you discover the beauty of France the way that you enjoy her fine wines. Slowly. The pace of the walks, which take place on well defined paths or tracks, is comfortable and never too demanding. You’ll typically be covering around 10 miles a day – occasionally more, sometimes less.
