Hexagon in UK Resources Directory

In 1964 Paul Michaels started a small tuning business in a mews garage in Hampstead. That same year he met Ronnie Spiegel ex Healey Apprentice and in a very short while the two were partners. From these very small beginnings one mews garage became two and eventually four. Operating a straight forward garage with no franchise holding, they moved into their new premises in North Hill and at the same time took on a franchise for Reliant Scimitar and subsequently ones for Alfa Romeo, Marcos, BMW and Lotus. The rise continued with their becoming concessionaires for the Monteverdi. Hexagon has enjoyed a long and distinguished association with historic and classic cars since 1963. In 1966 the company moved to Highgate and one year later acquired the BMW franchise. In the early 1970s, Hexagons enthusiasm for Motorsport culminated in John Watson driving a semiworks Brabham in Formula 1 in a team entered and run by Hexagon. In the mid 80’s, the BMW franchise had grown to a point where we invested in building one of the largest Aftersales centres in the world which now houses our Service, Parts and Bodyshop divisions.
